January 9th was School Resource Officer Appreciation Day. Mrs. Amen’s preschool class presented our SRO with a poster that the kids made for him. Thank you, Officer Rohn, for always being so kind and for protecting us!
Tonight MaKinley Aeschliman was awarded $2,000.00 and Greysen VanWye was awarded $1,000.00 for the NEMO Cattlemen’s Association Scholarship. Great work seniors and thank you NEMO Cattleman’s Association for supporting our youth!

—The #2 seed in each bracket will receive a bye in the first round (in addition to the #1 seed).
—On Wednesday night, they will consolidate into the HS gym only with game times as shown on the original brackets.
—Saturday game times and locations will be as shown on the original brackets.
Due to low numbers, our JV boys will not be attending the Knox JV tournament. After schedule adjustments, the girls will now play at 6pm on Monday 2/7 vs Clark County.

Biology students modeling DNA replication
The Troop B Student Alliance Program will take place on two consecutive Saturdays from 9a-4:30p beginning March 5. They request participants of the program be high school students of good character who might be interested in a career in law enforcement. Preference is given to juniors and seniors. Selected students will participate in a variety of educational activities intended to familiarize them with Highway Patrol operations and equipment. Participants will get to shoot in their indoor range and participate in mock traffic stops. The activities will take place at Troop B Headquarters in Macon MO. Students must provide their own transportation and will be on their own for a lunch break. See Mrs. O'Haver for an application.
The remainder of the La Plata tournament has been cancelled due to teams being unable to travel. We have added two games to fill out our schedule:
Tonight 2/3 vs Green City (Home-6pm tipoff girls followed by boys)
Friday 2/4 @ Canton (Away- 6pm tipoff girls followed by boys)
Macon has cancelled school for tomorrow and will not be able to play. No JV games on Thursday 2/3. Looking at a possible makeup date.
