Schuyler R-1 Schools will be dismissing at 1:30 today due to increasing wind forecasts.
The rest of the Schuyler 8th grade tournament has been canceled. An attempt was made to reschedule but we couldn't make it work with everyone's schedules. Schuyler's JH basketball season has officially ended.
The Schuyler 8th Grade Tournament has been postponed for tonight (12/15). A reschedule date for the final day is pending.

The Schuyler 6/7 boys finished their season with 2 losses in the 8th grade tournament. With those losses, their final record is 6-8. These boys love basketball, worked hard all year, and have a bright future.

Schuyler R-1 is in session Monday through Friday this week. We will dismiss at 3:32 (JH/HS 3:27) on Friday for winter break.

December Students of the Month for Jr and Sr High goes to:
Maddie Haley, nominated by Ms. Farley. Maddie is an all-star student! She is very committed to achieving both her academic and athletic goals and it shows.
Carson Allen, nominated by Mr. Kaden. Carson brings a lot to the classroom and activities he is involved in. He has high standards, a quick wit, and a willingness to work hard to achieve goals.
Cadence Randolph, nominated by Mrs. Harris. Cadence is always eager to work in her sketchbook and gets along well with her fellow students.
Destination Imagination is coming to Schuyler R-1! This extracurricular opportunity is open to K-12 students. It is a problem-solving competition with a performance component. Practices will be on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays beginning in January. For more information, please attend the informational meeting Monday, December 13th at 5:30 in the conference room.
Jv Girls get the road win at Clark Co 40-23. They improve to 4-0 on the year!
7th grade girls end their season with. 2-9 record. Lots of progress this year and great work ethic!
There will be NO elementary tutoring next week. We will begin elementary tutoring again in January.
