I am wanting to get an updated picture of our facilities for upcoming track meets. This picture gives teams an aerial view and helps them to better understand where they need to be. Attached is the old picture that was taken before some of the updates that are currently completed (removal of old track/pole vault area/discus ring/etc.). Is there anyone with a drone that would be able to help me get a new picture?

It has been fun celebrating School Breakfast Week this week sports-style! Friday, 3/12, is Schuyler Spirit day!

First graders have been learning the basics of coding. They’ve utilized apps on their iPads and cards to work on organization and structure to reach a desired output.
We have had to reschedule our baseball games against Green City. They were originally scheduled for 5/3/21 at home. This game will now be played on 4/29/21.
Dr. Seuss’ birthday was March 2nd. We celebrated with green eggs and ham for breakfast and lots of great reading and writing!
Second graders made beautiful pieces with warm and cool colors in Art class.
Spring Picture Day is 03/12/2021. Mark your calendar!
You do NOT pre-order this year. Please tell your child and/or their classroom teacher that you want their picture taken, so everyone who is planning to order is photographed. You will receive an email shortly after Picture Day to view and order the picture.
To prepare, pick out some simple accessories to complete the outfit and begin thinking about hairstyles.
We will celebrate School Breakfast Week March 9th-12th. Opaa! has invited the students to participate in a coloring contest and dress up days. There will also be prizes given daily for "Lucky Stickers" placed on milks and trays.
Tuesday: Double Dribble - wear a basketball jersey
Wednesday: Hit it Out of the Park - wear a baseball jersey or hat
Thursday: Sack the Quarterback - wear a football team shirt
Friday: Spirit Day - wear Schuyler apparel
We are excited to have spring music programs this semester! Students have been working on a variety of performances in music class this year in lieu of singing. They would like to showcase their new skills and talents on the following dates:
March 25 - Kindergarten
April 6 - 1st & 2nd Grades
April 22 - 3rd & 4th Grades
May 4 - 5th & 6th Grades
All programs will begin at 7:00 PM and be held in the big gym (or middle school gym). Please have your child to his/her classroom between 6:30 and 6:45. We appreciate your cooperation with the social distance/mask mandate.

Congratulations to Kyra Cullers and Xavia Cullers for representing Schuyler at the FCCLA Region 3 elections. Kyra was elected to serve as our Regional Vice President and Xavia was elected to serve as our VP of Community Service and Scholarships. What great accomplishment for these two students. Kelsey Tallman and Madison Blackorby were chosen for voting delegates.
