Senior Spotlight: Paige Williams

Time change on the JV tournament game this Saturday! The JV girls will now play at 3:30 pm this Saturday in the Knox County Tournament.
The girls JV basketball team will play Scotland County at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 12, in the Knox County War Eagle Tournament. The game will be at Knox in the elementary gym.
Due to PK-6th Parent/Teacher Conferences from 4:00-7:00 on February 10th, we will not have elementary tutoring tomorrow.
We would like to recognize our Youth Basketball League during the halftime of the girls game next Wednesday 2/16. Players with the team shirt on will have free admission to the game. These are the players PreK-3rd grade.
Congratulations, Robert, on being our first treasure chest winner with the Book Blast program! Another winner will be drawn tomorrow.




Schuyler Elementary is hosting several education majors for observation hours this semester. Mrs. Frederick’s first grade class did a verb activity led by their Truman student, Miss V.

We have added 2 quarters of JV for both girls and boys when we head to Westran on 2/15. The night will look like this:
4:30pm- 2 JV girls followed by 2 JV boys
6:00pm- Varsity Girls
7:15pm- Varsity boys

On 2/18, we host Fayette for senior night.
Here are the schedule of events for the evening:
5:00pm- 2 JV girls quarters followed by 2 JV boys

Fourth grade students used their knowledge of circuits to do an online lab. They got to test materials to see if they’d be conductors or insulators.




Second graders enjoyed experimenting with force and motion!


First grade celebrated their increases in fluency on Friday. They enjoyed fluency French toast and showed off their gains around school on up arrows.




Ahoy! Our (elementary) lads and lassies have cast off on an adventure to discover their own treasure trove of books. Families, be on the lookout tonight for your child’s treasure map and help us to complete it tonight!




Preschool did a fun hands-on activity to learn about Volume.



Kindergarten has been practicing their writing skills as well as their penmanship.




January 9th was School Resource Officer Appreciation Day. Mrs. Amen’s preschool class presented our SRO with a poster that the kids made for him. Thank you, Officer Rohn, for always being so kind and for protecting us!


Tonight MaKinley Aeschliman was awarded $2,000.00 and Greysen VanWye was awarded $1,000.00 for the NEMO Cattlemen’s Association Scholarship. Great work seniors and thank you NEMO Cattleman’s Association for supporting our youth!

Our 5th/6th and Junior High Campus Bowl teams are competing in Scotland’s Sprint Tournament today!
