At the elementary, our school-wide PBS theme this year is Toy Story. We hope to find occasions to work this theme into activities. One way will be a Toy Story dress up day(s). With Halloween around the corner, you may opt to purchase a Toy Story character costume to use on these occasions. On the other hand, you can choose to put together an outfit at home. Some ideas include:
Woody/Jessie - boots, jeans, red handkerchief, long sleeve yellow shirt, vest (Woody), or chaps (Jessie)
Buzz - wear white and green; attach red, blue, and purple paper to shirt for buttons and suit design
Bo Peep - pink and white dress or blue outfit with a pink bow
Rex - wear a T-Rex shirt
Andy - t-shirt and shorts (depending on weather)
Andy's Mom - jeans, a blouse, and sweater
Students will not be required to participate but are certainly welcome to. Please keep the dress code in mind when choosing/making a costume.

JH softball falls to Kirksville 17-0
NO 4th-5th grade cheer practice TONIGHT.
The flu clinic will be held on October 24th for 5-12th graders. If a student under 5th grade is signed up to receive the vaccine, they must be accompanied by their parent/guardian on the 24th. Please complete and return a consent form.
The JH football game vs North Shelby has been moved from 10/8/19 to 10/7/19.

School pictures will go home with elementary students today!! Picture retakes are scheduled for Friday, October 18th.
Schuyler R-1 Elementary will host the SchoolStore fundraiser again this year. Information packets will go home with PK-6 students today. Student participation is optional!
Due to wet field conditions we are cancelling the JH softball game tonight against Salisbury. We will only be playing a V/JV double header tonight (9/24) with first pitch at 5pm.
