JH track practice will start tomorrow from 3:30 to 5. Make sure you have sweats, a hoodie, shorts, a t-shirt, and running shoes.
Schuyler’s 5/6 Scholar Bowl team went 7-0 for the day, earning 1st Place in the Scotland SPRINT Academic Quiz Bowl Tournament. They averaged 322.86 points per game. Harrison Kaden and Will Crawford filled 2 out of 6 spots on the all tournament team. Harrison averaged 37.1 points per game and Will averaged 31.4. Congrats to Calain Brimer, Will Crawford, Hayden Vincent, Harrison Kaden, Clara Dabney, and Chayten Antal!
Today, second grade learned about the water cycle with a fun experiment! 🌧️ 🌧️
Third grade observed the parts of an egg. They should be hatching fertilized chicken eggs later next week. 🐤

Schuyler hosted Knox and Salisbury in scholar bowl action on Wednesday evening. Varsity Scholar Bowl picked up two conference wins. In a back and forth match, the Rams defeated Knox 330-260. Carter Hoffmeyer led the Rams with seven toss ups. Jaxson Kaden and Deacon Schoonover each had three. In their second match, the Rams defeated Salisbury 450-170. Hoffmeyer again led the way in scoring with six tossups. Schoonover had five, Parker Dabney three, and Kaden two.
The Rams finish the conference regular season at 7-1 with an average score of 342.5 a game. The Rams will be the 1 seed in the conference tournament on March 9.
In JV action, the Rams defeated Knox 210-70 but fell to Salisbury 170-150.

Exchange Bank of Northeast Missouri has partnered with Schuyler County R-1 School District to offer Shuyler County Rams debit cards. Every time a Schuyler County Rams debit card is used, a donation is made to the school. A check in the amount of $2,500 was presented to Kyle Windy, Superintendent, for the 2023 donations earned from school card usage. Presenting the check on behalf of Exchange Bank of Northeast Missouri is Renee McBee, Lancaster Branch Manager, and Lori Pearson, Queen City Branch Manager.
