There are lots of fun centers in preschool to support their motor skills and to help the kids grow socially and creatively!
Preschoolers have been practicing counting to 6 and 7 in a variety of ways.
Preschool recently partnered up with their 5th grade buddy rooms to listen to some stories. All of the kids enjoyed it!

**Dress up days for the students Tuesday-Friday
**Pep Rally will be in the HS gym on Friday starting at 2:45pm
**Varsity girls and boys games vs. Salisbury with girls game starting at 6pm
**Coronation will be between the girls and boys game
**Dance will be Saturday, February 10 from 7-9pm. The JH dance is in the MS Gym; HS dance is in the Multipurpose Room
This week, first graders have been learning how to measure with centimeter cubes and a centimeter ruler.

The JV Scholar Bowl traveled to Scotland on Wednesday night for a tri meet with Knox and Scotland. Each school split its JV into two teams. The Schuyler Gold and Maroon teams each played both teams from Knox and both from Scotland.
JV Gold was made up of Deacon Schoonover, Drayven Koser, Ace Fugate, Kaia Amaro, and Taylor Erwin. The Gold team went 4-0. Their scores:

Gold 355 Scotland White 180
Gold 335 Knox Black 190
JV Maroon was made up of Easton Kimber, Rigo Razo, Evi Aeschliman, Asher Applegate, and Brendon Aeschliman. Maroon also went 4-0. Their scores:

Great job, Mini Dance Rams! Thank you to Coach Applegate, her dance team, and the families for a wonderful performance Tuesday evening!
High School Track will begin off season workouts tomorrow Thursday (2/1) right after school with Coach Okenfels in the middle school gym (alongside with the JH run club). Workouts will go till 4:15-4:30pm. Any students currently not in a winter sport should take advantage of this!

The Lady Rams lost their opening game at the La Plata Tourney 56-49. The Lady Rams are now 12-7 and play in the second round on Thursday at 8:00 pm.

Schuyler hosted the first annual Schuyler Winter Invitational Tournament this past Saturday. Twenty teams from eleven schools competed in Schuyler’s WIT. The Rams varsity squad went 6-3 on the day with wins over Palmyra, Knox A, Mexico C, Scotland B, Clopton B, and Knox B. The Rams dropped games against Mexico A, Mexico B, and Winfield. The two squads from Mexico took home first and second. Winfield earned the third place trophy. The varsity Rams finished fifth overall.
The JV Rams had a tough morning. They lost each of their morning round games but were competitive. In their afternoon pool, The JV Rams won each of their games, defeating Westran A, Westran B, and Clopton B. They finished 3-6 on the day.

Just a reminder Mini Dance Camp is Tuesday, January 30th. Camp will be after school in multipurpose room until 5:00. Shirts will be handed out at pickup. The performance will be at the boys halftime game that night. Mini Dancers can be brought to HS commons between 5:45-6 to get with their groups and get ready.
Buses will be on regular routes starting tomorrow, January 30th.

Girls in grades K-6 are invited to attend the Girl Scouts meeting scheduled for Wednesday, January 31st at 3:45 in the multipurpose room. An adult needs to attend with the participant.
