Second graders learned about soil and erosion this week. They explored soil types and textures. Then, students designed experiments to help reduce wind and water erosion.








Kindergarten screenings are taking place on April 8th from 2:00-6:00.

The board voted to amend the calendar for the current school year. We will go to school on Monday, May 5 and May 12, with our last day of school on May 16 (early out).


Elementary art teacher, Mrs. Kassens, was awarded an MRTA grant this past August to purchase clay supplies. 4th grade students started working on their clay projects this week.




Fifth grade has been researching and creating a foodchain within an ecosystem of their choice. ☀️🌱🦌🐠

First grade has started their coding unit. They use hands-on games and apps like Daisy the Dinosaur to introduce this new topic.






Fifth grade learned about the ecosystem by collecting items from our ecosystem and observing them. 🍂 🌱 🪱 🪨 💧










Sixth grade learned about erosion by collecting outdoor items and eroding them with water. 🪨💧

Special Olympics Young Athlete Program had their first activity day today. They have 3 more sessions on Saturdays in April. This program is open to all children ages 2-7.
