The spring Book Fair was a success. Thank you to all of our patrons! A big thank you to Officer Rohn, Officer Shaw, and Delta Kappa Gamma sorority for donating to get kids free books at our BOGO fair.
First grade had beautiful weather this week to have their annual kite flying day!
Kindergarten enjoyed visiting the Droste's farm and playing at the Inclusion Park in Kirksville!
Preschool enjoyed their field trip to the Inclusion Park in Kirksville!
The second graders made and hung some cheery decorations at Schuyler County Nursing Home this morning!
The Schuyler Scholar Bowl team went 2-1 in the round robin portion of the state tournament. They dropped their first game to Weaubleau 360-240. The Rams defeated Brentwood in game 2, 290-130. In game 3, Schuyler won 360-150. The 2-1 record earned the Rams a spot in the championship against Weaubleau. Schuyler fell 330-220 in the rematch.
Congratulations to Carter Hoffmeyer, Parker Dabney, Colin Oliver, and Jaxson Kaden on Second Place Missouri Class 2 and an outstanding season!
A big thanks to the Martins for serving slushies again today!
Schuyler R-1 5th graders visited the Battle of Athens State Historic Site in Revere, MO today. They learned the history of the site and went on a tour, hike, and scavenger hunt.

Fifth graders and their preschool buddies enjoyed some time together this morning decorating the playground!
Fourth graders have been enjoying working in groups to complete STEM activities this week!
Second grade has been enjoying some science demonstrations and experiments this week!
Mrs. Dixon organized a sports-themed music program this evening. The 3rd-6th grade music students did a nice job of providing history behind sports and singing some well-known songs. Mrs. Kassens' 3rd–6th grade students created sports-themed art to display at this evening's program. Thank you to everyone who came out this evening!

Our Big Wheels Bingo winners are Luka/Amelia and Jaylynn! They are each going home with a tetherball game.
