The Kirksville Clothes Closet offers free clothing to those in need. Starting April 1st, they are introducing a special shopping time specifically for community organizations and their clients. This is intended to provide a quieter, more comfortable experience for those who may need extra support.

Second graders learned about soil and erosion this week. They explored soil types and textures. Then, students designed experiments to help reduce wind and water erosion.

The board voted to amend the calendar for the current school year. We will go to school on Monday, May 5 and May 12, with our last day of school on May 16 (early out).

Elementary art teacher, Mrs. Kassens, was awarded an MRTA grant this past August to purchase clay supplies. 4th grade students started working on their clay projects this week.



Fifth grade has been researching and creating a foodchain within an ecosystem of their choice. ☀️🌱🦌🐠
