Miss Shyla from MU Extension Nutrition helped preschool plant lettuce and radishes. She also brought peppers, cucumbers, and radishes for them to try.
🌺 Kindergarten students learned about Pollination in Science. They practiced pollinating flowers with insects!
🌈 Kindergarteners utilized their writing skills to create a Rainbow Poem and Craft!
Second grade has been learning about erosion in Science. They worked in teams to identify ways to help prevent erosion and then experimented with both wind and water!
Third graders are learning about fractions in Math. They practiced today by partioning a life-size number line into parts and plotting various fractions.
Congratulations to Evi Aeschliman who is enlisting into the United States Army. She will leave for Basic Training this summer with plans to become an Army Nurse.

Schuyler A Scholar Bowl team got second in their tournament hosted at home tonight. Oakley Thompson got sixth place for answering the most tossup questions.
Just a reminder that school is in session on Monday, March 25. There will be no school on Friday, March 29.

Mrs. McClain invited some senior students to talk to her 5th grade guidance class about the importance of being kind to others and not being a bully. They did an excellent job!
The Schuyler R-1 School Board voted to amend the school calender for the current school year due to the elementary construction projects happening this summer.
The last day for students in grades PreK-11th grade will be May 16. This is an early dismissal.
Senior's last day will be May 14, with senior check out and graduation practice.
Please note that school is in session May 13 with the new amended calendar.
